Eyelash Extensions
- Care should be taken during the first 24 hours while the glue is still setting. Avoid getting the lashes wet (including saunas, steam rooms and swimming) during this time.
- It is not uncommon for loss of a few lashes to occur.
- Do not use waterproof mascara
- Non waterproof mascara should be used no more than twice a week
- Only non-oily makeup remover should be used
- Clients can clean the lashes using warm soapy water, and pat dry
- Do not use cotton wool as the fibres will get caught in the lashes and may irritate the eye.
- Infill’s will be required every 10 to 14 days to replace any lashes that have come away
- If any itching or irritation occurs within 24 hours please return to have the lashes removed.
- Do not pull away the lashes as this will result in the loss of the natural lashes
- An eyelash tint may be carried out 24 hours prior to application to enhance the effect, but cannot be carried out with lash extensions on
- Do not use lash curlers
- Do not pick the lashes or rub the eyes
- Avoid contact with oily products such as face creams, moisturizers, wipes etc
- Lashes can be combed and repositioned with a disposable mascara brush
- If any adverse reactions please seek medical advice from your GP
Semi-Permanent Eyelash Extensions General Guidance
- Week One – The lashes should appear fuller and/or longer and should not require infill’s until 10- 14 days after application
- Week Two – As the natural lashes begin to shed, the eyelashes will begin to look less full and the you should book for an infill appointment
- Week Three – If maintenance was carried out in week two the lashes should appear fuller. It is normal to experience more falling as the lashes that were still attached from week one will begin to come away. If no maintenance was carried out the lashes will have begun to come away and the lashes will look less full and by the end of the week look sparse. Mascara can be applied during this time to help give more impact.
- Week Four – If no maintenance was carried out the lashes will almost all be gone. At this point the client would need to have a whole newest of lashes applied.
- Maintenance times will always vary depending on how long the lashes have been on, and how they have been cared for in between appointments. Regular infill will maintain the lashes
- Only a non oily makeup remover should be used
- Clients wearing heavy make-up will need to visit for maintenance more frequently
Lash Lift (AirLift and LVL)
- Be very gentle with your lashes. No rubbing or itching. Avoid touching eye area for next few hours
- Excess sun exposure will cause tint to fade
- Do not get your lashes wet for the first 24 hours. Swimming should also be avoided during this time.
- Allow 24 hours before applying any type of product to your lashes. After 24 hours, you may apply regular mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow, or any type of makeup products you desire. However, no waterproof mascaras

Tinting/Hybrid Tinting

Threading
Slight skin irritation is common after threading. The below is only a general care guidance. For customers with extra sensitive skin additional care might be required.
- Gently wash the treated area or face with cold water using anti-bacterial face wash.
- Apply aloe-vera gel to treated area to soothe the skin unless you have an allergy to this ge
- Avoid using perfumed products, make steam treatment or heat source like sun bathing / tanning beds, hot baths or sauna for at least 24 hours after the treatment.
- Avoid swimming in chlorinated water or spray tanning 24-48 hours post threading.
Nails
- Leave adequate time after your treatment for your nails to dry
- Use cuticle butter or oil every day. This will drive nutrients into the nail, creating stronger, healthier nails, less brittle, more supple nails. This help your gel polish/extensions last longer
- Use Protective gloves for housework, gardening, DIY tasks etc as household chemicals can strip natural nails and skin of natural oils, thus, affecting its look and condition
- Never use your nail extension as tools! Treat them with care and love
- Do not pick off the extensions or gel polish as this will remove the upper layer of natural nails, causing damage. Have them removed professionally. Removal is best followed by a manicure to keep natural nails in good shape and condition.
- If any adverse reaction of any kind (Rash, Redness, Inflammation etc ) happens around the nails please contact your GP immediately.
- Certain foods, tinted lotions, suntan creams and hair products can discolour your nail extensions. So, wash your hands thoroughly after use or wear gloves to protect them.
- Biting or picking your nail enhancements can lead to weakening or breakage and can cause damage to your natural nails.
- If going on holiday, DO NOT get DEET (a common chemical in mosquito repellents)on your nails. It will cause lifting and removal to occur.
- For your nails to keep looking their best, do not miss your regular reapplication/infill appointments with us
- Its advisable to carry out infills every 2 to 3 weeks, as the product will weaken over time and chances of breaking the nails are higher

Waxing
The following reactions are quite common after a wax treatment and are perfectly normal temporary reactions. Any symptoms should subside within 24-48 hours
- Slight soreness
- Small bumps and redness
Keep the waxed area clean, and avoid heat and friction during the next 24 to 48 hours. This means:
- Avoid extreme heat for 24 hours. This includes very hot baths/showers, steam rooms, saunas and Jacuzzi’s as this can aggravates the skin and the pores are still open. You could also pick up an infection from public places
- No massage or heat treatment for 24 hours
- Exposure to UV light, including sun beds and sunbathing, must be avoided for 24 hours following treatment, as burning can occur.
- No fake tan for 24 hours
- Avoid swimming in chlorinatedpools
- Deodorant or anything perfumed should not be applied to the area that has been waxed for 24- 48 hours as this could make the area very sore.
- Make-up should be avoided following facial hair removal for that day although mineral make up is fine.
- Waxing removes dead skin so the skin may be a little lighter immediately following treatment but colour will return to normal within a few hours.
- A heat reaction may be seen on the skin for several hours following treatment and this is quite normal. This will vary from a mild redness to a much stronger skin reaction and some people have red dots on the waxed area for several hours
- If any spots or rashes persist for more than a week, or become infected, please consult with your GP. If the aftercare advice given is followed the skin should return to normal within 24 hours. If the reaction is still present after this time or worsens, it may be that you have had an allergic reaction to the wax, and you should seek medical advice from your GP.
