Tinting

Tinting is straight forward, quick and painless procedure using a semi-permanent hair dye formulated specifically for use eyebrows and eyelashes to make them look stand out. For thicker looking eyebrows, to add definition to your face or to just conceal those grey hairs in your eyebrows, Tinting could be the perfect treatment.

Benefits

Eyebrow tinting gives you bolder, natural looking eyebrows since the actual hair of the eyebrow is tinted to a darker colour, eliminating that “drawn on” look. Eyelash tinting allows people to have the eyelashes they want without having to bother with mascara. The results can last up to 2 to 3 weeks based on hair growth, maintenance, and aftercare.

Procedure

You’ll first discuss with our therapist how you want your brows or lashes to look. Then the therapist will prep the area, cleaning the brows and applying a thin layer of petroleum jelly around them to prevent any accidental skin staining. The dye is then mixed and carefully applied. The dye is left on for a few minutes (time depends on how intense the client wants the colour to be) to attain optimal colour, then any excess is removed with a damp paper towel. Our standard time for brow tinting is 10 minutes, for lash tinting is 15 minutes and both together is 20 minutes.
